What a liar.

I know, I’m a liar. It’s only been less than 4 days that I announced that I was going to hold off on this, but then I made myself the most delicious womanich and I took pictures. So, why not?

Here are your ingredients:

  • 1 potato, chopped
  • 1-2 onions, sliced
  • 2-3 inches of ground chuck in a tube
  • 1 roll out of 6 delicious Albertsons made hoagie rolls
  • a few thinly and poorly judgemental slices of Mozarella cheese
  • almost half a cup of butter, sliced
  • pepper & salt

Okay, so you start with the onion. Slice it up so that it still retains its crescent shaped rings and drop it into a hot pan that has butter sizzling in it and pepper it up.

Feel free to add more butter.

Yeah, you like that?

I know you like that.

Next, add some potatoes.

Aww, how naked they are!

Do the decent thing and throw some pepper on them (and a little bit of salt).

Yeah… aww.. you like that?

I know I like that.

Next, cook the meat in odd little chunks.

Throw some pepper, tapatio, a little bit of salt, and whatever spices you may find in your cabinet. (Mine is strangely devoid with the exception of multiple tea bags and Matcha powder, NONE of which help out in my meaty quest, by the way.)

I ended up mashing these potatoes with loads more of butter and sour cream, and a little bit of my beer, but I wish I kept them as thick chips.

In the end, I came out to this:

And my life was complete.

……. revamp.

I am going to temporarily put this blog on pause, as there are so many bigger things coming in.

And also, the lack of photos make things for uninteresting, at the moment.

My New Little Friend

He’s cute, he flops around, his eyes are deep and black or dark brown, he wiggles around, and he absolutely loves shoelaces. He likes beer, he rolls around, he can’t make it up the couch, and he’s only three months old!

Wait, what?

Meet Stevie!

God, this beagle is cute.

He was having fun with my shoelaces last weekend.

Yeaaaah, he likes that.

And look at his eyes! His ears! So cute…

Hanging on my ankle.

Side Note: This is not my dog. I met up with a guy to drink beer and he didn’t tell me about his new buddy from the shelter. Needless to say, I spent most of my time playing with Stevie and drinking beer.

keeping busy

You know what’s amazing in southern California?

The clouds and the traffic and the sunsets and the sunrises and the people and the weather and the…

Sunrise shots are amazing shots.

These are when I just started to learn with a dSLR.

Spaghetti Leftovers

I keep thinking that I need to update this blog – work and school has left me, sadly, out of time. It’s difficult because I rarely have time to upload pictures from my memory card to my laptop and I hardly have time to upload those pictures to flickr. Alas… my time, where have you gone?

Lamenting time aside, here is one lost morning where we didn’t really feel like making food and I was still hankering to finish the spaghetti we made earlier. Another post will have to be made about that, as I sadly, have not uploaded pictures of that yet.
